Dr. Porter, a board-certified emergency physician and mother of 4, began her journey into aesthetics and sexual wellness in 2015. Her passion for sexual wellness stems from her own personal struggle with postpartum dyspareunia (pain with sex), anorgasmia and stress urinary incontinence. Through the help of EvexiPEL® bio-identical hormone replacement, a series of O-Shots®, and diVa™ vaginal laser therapy, she enjoys a rewarding personal life. Professionally, helping other women and men with similar difficulties is the most fulfilling aspect of her practice.
She has a particular passion for victims of sexual assault, genital mutilation, and those suffering from autoimmune diseases such as Peyronie’s and lichen sclerosus. While she enjoys treating individuals, her greatest satisfaction arises from treating couples because she gets to feel their love for one another and rejoice in success with two people instead of one. She is one of only a handful of physicians in the country who is certified to train other physicians on the O-Shot®, the Priapus Shot®, and GAINSWave® extracorporeal shockwave therapy to treat ED.

Austin Love Doctor™ is the first and only physician-run clinic in Austin focused exclusively on the sexual health of men, women and couples. Our clients are fed up frustrated with telling their physician that “something is wrong” or they “just don’t feel right” and being told they are “normal.” Gone are the 15-minute office visits where you talk to the back of someone’s head. Instead, we provide comprehensive solutions to improve and enhance our clients’ sex lives in a relaxed boutique atmosphere where personal relationships matter. There are some clients who could benefit from surgical treatment or psychotherapy, and we partner with other local experts to ensure the best outcomes. We’ll laugh, we’ll cry, and we won’t give up until we’ve tried everything.

In the era of hurried appointments talking to a physician’s back while he frantically types at a computer, we take the time needed to feel the pain you feel. We do this in a relaxed environment where your privacy is protected. Our Owner
Dr. Porter, a board-certified emergency physician with 12 years of experience in emergency rooms prior to her career in sexual wellness. Dr. Porter re-trained in sexual medicine to help create a better life balance and to foster stronger doctor-patient relationships than those the emergency room allowed. As a mother of 4, her passion for sexual wellness stems from her own personal struggle with post-partum dyspareunia, anorgasmia and stress urinary incontinence. Through the help of EvexiPEL® bio-identical hormone replacement, a series of O-Shots®, and diVa™ vaginal laser therapy, she enjoys a rewarding personal life. Professionally, helping other women and men with similar difficulties is the most fulfilling aspect of her practice. She has a particular passion for victims of sexual assault, genital mutilation, and those suffering from autoimmune diseases such as Peyronie’s and lichen sclerosus. In addition to being a trainer for the O-Shot® and Priapus Shot® she is a certified trainer for GAINSWave® extracorporeal shockwave therapy to treat ED. Her effervescent personality gives her a unique ability to connect with patients and put them at ease. As a physician, safety and comfort are of utmost importance to Dr. Porter.
